TANGO Foundation
The TANGO (Taber Assisting Nations through Global Outreach) Foundation was founded in 2013 out of a desire to share the talents of the Taber community with 3rd world countries around the globe.

I have been so blessed to live and work in the Community of Taber. It is the most generous community I have ever lived in. Taber has a special group of medical professionals who wanted to give back. I love Mother Theresa’s quote that states, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” I hope that service through The Tango Foundation is a small thing that we can do with great love.Ryan Torrie, MD - President

Matthew 25:34-40
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'”What a privilege it is to be able to help the less fortunate through the Tango Foundation. I have dreamed my whole life of being able to help people in third world countries and am so thankful that God is using me to minister to the sick and needy. When we all do a small part we accomplish amazing things!Linda Moedt, RN - Vice President

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston ChurchillMike Brand - Treasurer

It is such an honour to be apart of this amazing group. I am very thankful for the opportunity to give back to those who need it most. It’s experiences like these that remind us how the smallest act of kindness can have a huge impact, not just on their lives but on our own.
“Life is short. Life is uncertain. But we know that we have today. And we have each other. I believe that for each of us, there is a place on the frontlines.”

“Though my work may be menial, though my contribution may be small, I can perform it with dignity and offer it with unselfishness. My talents may not be great, but I can use them to bless the lives of others…. The goodness of the world in which we live is the accumulated goodness of many small and seemingly inconsequential acts.”

“Wherever there is a human in need, there is an opportunity for kindness and to make a difference.”

I am a family doctor at the Taber Clinic. What a privilege to be part of such a wonderful group of people. I am excited to be able to share my knowledge and experience in this humanitarian effort. It is a blessing to spread hope to those less fortunate. In my experience, we are more blessed by their gratitude and generosity than we are able to give.Dave Yamabe, MD
